Apple made a splash with its event yesterday, unveiling a wide array of new products. The company, especially with its iPhone 16 series, seems to have exceeded expectations. The new lineup received positive reactions from users, and most devices will be available for purchase on September 20. Here’s a rundown of everything introduced at the Apple event:
iPhone 16 and 16 Pro Series
The highlight of the event was the new iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which drew all eyes with their features. The standard and Plus models come with the A18 processor, while the 16 Pro and Pro Max are equipped with the A18 Pro processor. These processors enable Apple Intelligence across the series and enhancements allow AAA games to be played on larger screens.
All models see an increase in screen size and feature the new Action Button, Camera Control Button, and more. Additionally, the iPhone 16 series is designed to be lighter compared to previous models and supports Wi-Fi 7.
Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 2 in Black
Among the new models announced is the Apple Watch Series 10. It now boasts a larger screen than the Ultra model and is introduced as the biggest and thinnest design. While the Watch Ultra 3 was anticipated, Apple only revealed the new Black color option and some new features added to the device.
New Features for AirPods 4, AirPods Max, and AirPods Pro 2
The event also saw the introduction of AirPods 4, which now come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support, a departure from previous models. The new AirPods 4, equipped with the H2 chip, offer low latency and high energy efficiency. The AirPods Max also debuted with a USB-C port, and AirPods Pro 2 received enhancements to improve performance.
iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and More
Alongside the iPhone 16 series, the full releases of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 were announced. The final versions of these operating systems will be available on September 16, following the release of the last beta version after the event. iOS 18 will offer new experiences with its AI features, and macOS Sequoia and watchOS 11 were also revealed.
